Welcome to the home of Pierre & Nancy Moitier at

"Designs for Greener Gardens" in Annapolis, MD

A small caravan headed out for Annapolis, MD, to the home of Pierre & Nancy Moitier on April 20,2017. Shortly after leaving Seaford and before the Bay Bridge we were greeted by dark clouds and rain; however, as we reached Annapolis the sun came out, as did the tulips in the gardens, to welcome us to the lovely home and gardens on Old Bay Ridge Road.

Nancy & Pierre greeted us with big smiles which remained all during our tour.  Their love of gardening and sharing their "garden rooms" with visitors was very evident.

Following our tour we dined at the Killarney House in Davidsonville, MD, where the menu offerred delicious traditional Irish foods or simple American fare.

Then, it was on to the mammouth Homestead Gardens.  As Zeeger deWilde said, "I've never seen so many plants and varieties of stuff in one place--ever"!  It has to be the size of many, many football fields.

Hopefully you will enjoy the few pictures which follow as much as we did. (Special thanks to Dorothy Mears for some of the pics.)
