                 Lunch at the Blue Water Grill, Millsboro, DE

     Tour of Jan & Greg Thompson's Hosta & Daylily Gardens

The Spade & Trowel Garden Club ended its year with a lunch in Millsboro, DE, at the Blue Water Grill.  Following the lunch the club traveled to Dagsboro, DE, and toured the lovely hosta and daylily gardens of Jan & Greg Thompson.  The Thompson's property abuts the newly established Botanical Gardens and the Indian River.  Unfortunately, due to the wet and chilly spring we experienced this year not many of the daylilys were in bloom; however, the club was invited back to see them in full bloom this coming summer.  (Photos by Jim Zeigler & Carol Kinsley)
