                                        2017 Seaford Garden Tour

"Through the Garden Gate" - June 3, 2017

The Seaford Spade & Trowel Garden Club presented "Through the Garden Gate," a tour of 9 gardens throughout the Seaford area.  The Club was very grateful to homeowners who graciously opened their gardens for visitors to enjoy.  The sponsors help support the Club with their many community projects. The Nanticoke Yacht Club served as a home base for the tour and featured many vendors, a plant sale and the opportunity to purchase a boxed lunch.

Funds raised by the Club, a 502(c)(3) non-profit organization go toward the gifting of two college scholarships, garden demonstrations, the support of the Boys & Girls Club of Seaford, the beautification of the two bridges in downtown Seaford and downtown businesses, the planters at city hall, as well as landscaping at the historic Ross Mansion.

Special thanks go out to these homeowners:  Sandi & Donald Dew, George & Jaye Gmoser, the Governor Ross Mansion, Josie & Bob Hunsberger, Carol & John Kinsley, Lettie & John Perry, Dennis Russell (Act II Florist), Bill & Sherry Shepperdson and Vickie & Al Thompson.
